A panel of six people including three representatives from the State of Ohio Auditors office- and Shawnee Township Trustees- answered a wide range of questions from residents.
Last night a Community Meeting was held at the Shawnee High School Auditorium regarding the issue on the current ballot that deals with the dissolution of the Village of Fort Shawnee- and having its residents become part of Shawnee Township.

If the Fort is dissolved into Shawnee- the transition will not take place right away- a closing audit would have to take place first.
