Last night during Lima City Council’s Safety Service Committee meeting- members met and voiced their concerns that there needs to be security at the City Hall Building due to recent tragic shooting incidents throughout the Country.

3rd Ward Councilman Jesse Lowe- says that he has tried to get security at the building without success since he was elected- but he believes it is now time for the mayor to take action.

The next step in this process will come with a motion being made to the Finance Committee to try and appropriate funds and figure out how they can get some sort of security at the building.
