The Allen County Health Department is reminding residents that this time of year is when Norovirus- the virus that frequently causes nausea- vomiting- diarrhea and stomach cramps- is reported in this area of the United States.

In an effort to decrease the spread of disease among children- teach your child that if they are sick- to cover their nose and mouth with a tissue when they sneeze- to wash their hands often with soap and water- and to avoid touching their eyes- nose- or mouth.

The Health Department says it is important to practice good health habits with your children.
