A Canton excavating business came in as the low-bidder for the next phase of the major reconstruction project for I-75 through the Lima portion of Allen County..

Phase 2 will consist of complete reconstruction of the existing lanes from Fourth Street to just north of state route 81.
That work is expected to start in the spring.
A public meeting will be held prior to the work getting underway.
The time and date for that meeting has not yet been determined.
