Board Certified Cardiologist Doctor Pamela Gardner explained that heart disease is something women need to be aware of.

On Friday at the Lima Memorial Heart Institute- associates and providers gathered for the "Go Red for Women" campaign group photo.

Board Certified Cardiologist Doctor Pamela Gardner explained that heart disease is something women need to be aware of.

"Go Red for Women" was developed in 2003.

Heart disease claims the lives of nearly 500,000 American women each year.
