The Safety Service Committee heard from Major Angel Cortes- who asked to be able to purchase 4 new pieces of equipment- not to exceed 3-thousand dollars.
Lima Police have gone to a council committee to seek new work-out equipment.
The Safety Service Committee heard from Major Angel Cortes- who asked to be able to purchase 4 new pieces of equipment- not to exceed 3-thousand dollars.
Money for the purchases would come from a special safety service fund, not the city’s general fund.
That special fund was set up several years ago by former council member Tommy Pitts.
