In the midst of the gun debate going on in the country right now- Concealed Firearms Training for School Administrators and select teachers is being implemented by the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office.

Personnel will be selected and approved by the local school boards prior to training through the Sheriff’s Office.

Training will include concealed carry weapons training- weapons safety- storage- tactics for handling weapons- dealing with suspects- and basic gunshot first aid.

This training is being provided by the Sheriff’s Office from the Concealed Carry Fund- at no cost to the local school districts.
