An issue of wording for a tax levy replacement that will appear for Allen County voters on the May Primary ballots was taken up by the executive board of the county Board of Elections on Thursday.
An issue of wording for a tax levy replacement that will appear for Allen County voters on the May Primary ballots was taken up by the executive board of the county Board of Elections on Thursday.
Director Ken Terry explained it has to do with the Johnny Appleseed Metropolitan Park District- where the wording will state to "declare taxes within the 10 mill limitation to be insufficient".
There will also be 9 other issues- including charter amendment changes for the city of Lima- and school issues for Elida- Apollo- Bluffton- Lima City Schools- and Waynesfield-Goshen.
