Bluffton’s mayor- Eric Fulcomer- announced on Monday that he is stepping down- and taking a job in Illinois to serve as the vice president of enrollment management at Rockford College.
Fulcomer’s resignation will be effective March 1st- and at that time the Council President- Dennis Gallant- will take over.
Fulcomer said there will be discussion on if a special election will be needed.
