A special program in honor of Black History Month is happening this weekend in Lima..
6th Ward Councilman Derry Glenn said it will be at the Bradfield Community Center on Saturday at 6-30pm.
Glenn talked about the requirements that were needed to name 5 citizens as members of the 6th Ward Hall of Fame.
Those recipients include Furl Williams- Georgia Newsome- Star Lestar- Leslie Long- and Alberta Shurelds. There will also be 3 Pioneer Award winners named.
