They received the call just after 4pm- as they were notified by the home owners- who were home when they noticed smoke coming from the attic area.
The Bath Township Fire Department responded to an attic fire on Thursday afternoon on Lutz Road.

A lamp apparently tipped over- and ignited insulation.
The fire was ruled accidental- and damage was estimated around 15-thousand dollars.
