The Ada bar owner charged with serving a 21-year-old at least 24 shots of alcohol was sentenced in Hardin County Municipal Court on Thursday..

61 year-old Richard Cribley pleaded no contest on charges of furnishing liquor to an intoxicated person at the Regal Beagle Bar on Main Street..

Cribley received five days in jail with all of those days suspended, a $225-dollar fine and six months of unsupervised probation.

Back in September, Ohio Investigative Unit agents began a month-long investigation after being contacted by the Ada Police Department about a young man who was admitted into intensive care with alcohol poisoning.

In December, bartender Joseph Jarvi was sentenced to five days in jail with four days suspended, a $200-dollar fine, 16 hours of community service and six months of probation.
