I normally don't like resolutions because I don't like to fail and because I don't think we need a special day to make changes. But, I really started thinking about it, and here's what I've come up with in the new year.

1. Treat myself better-You know how we're all so hard on ourselves?  Constantly picking at flaws and our weaknesses?  Well, in 2013, I want to shut up that inner voice and be nice to myself.

2.  Get my knee back to yoga shape! It's only been five weeks after surgery, but I am resolving to get my knee back to where I was in yoga (right now I am nowhere close to bending fully), but also to mix up my workouts and not just do yoga.

3.  Focus on the positives of whatever situation arises.  Believe it or not, I can be pretty negative and I know life isn't all sunshine and roses...so when a problem pops up, I'm going to ask myself "Self, could any good come from this?"

4.  Be more kind to others-that should just be given, right?  It's not so easy all of the time when we're all stresses and in a hurry everyday.

So, there you have it!  Even little mental changes count for a resolution!  Hope you think of some great ways to make a few positive changes in 2013
