College football is rich in over 100 years of history and tradition, and more history will be made beginning this weekend with the kickoff of the college bowl games.

The big games like the BCS National Championship, the Rose Bowl, the Sugar Bowl and the Fiesta Bowl are joined by a bevvy of bowl games that have ridiculous names – because their sponsors want their names tagged to them.

Even the Rose Bowl is no longer simply called the Rose Bowl. It's now the Rose Bowl Presented by Vizio. And then you have some smaller bowl games like the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl or the AdvoCare v100 Independence Bowl. The Beef O'Brady's Bowl in St. Petersburg, Florida, sounds particularly delicious. As does the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl. Either way, the San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl should be a good game
