Holiday card portrait party- Have your guests take silly photos with cheap cameras or smartphones and then watch them all together in a slideshow.

Hot cocktail bar- Whether it's a Peppermint Patty or a spiked hot apple cider, people love hot holiday drinks.

Light the darkness- December 2st is the longest night of the year. Light the room with candles and turn off your regular lights. This will definitely be good for the party mood.

Comfort food cook-off-- Have a potluck where everyone brings their favorite comfort food. It will be warm and delicious.

Ugly sweater-fest- Who doesnt' love a ridiculous holiday sweater? Have everyone wear them to a party.

Food or toy drive--- Do something nice during this time of year, and have your guests contribute to an organization of your choice.
